Tunnel Vision.
Erica Whitney’s second album: coming out August 14.
I have separation anxiety from your addictive personality. Can we slip out the back, so I can trace your face behind closed doors? It’s okay, just exhale.
But I don't want you to be happy if you’re ever with anyone but me.
Singles off the album.
Tunnel Vision
The song that gave the album its name. This is a love song about focusing solely on the person you love. It captures the feeling of being so wrapped up in someone that the rest of the world fades away. While some might call it delusional, for others, that kind of all-consuming connection is what makes love feel real. This song embodies the heart of the album’s theme—two people choosing to live in their own little world together.
Exhale (feat. SMBDY ELSE)
Have you ever smelled something you just couldn’t get enough of? Staying true to the album’s theme of obsessive love, this song is about being completely captivated by the scent of your partner’s breath—wanting to breathe only the air that comes from them, like it’s the only thing keeping you alive.
This song was previously released as part of an EP, featuring two alternative versions to match your mood: [Slowed Down] and [Sped Up].
SMBDY ELSE is a talented, independent, pop artist from Sioux Falls, SD. In addition to featuring on this track, he also appears on “Tank on E,” part of Erica’s Debut Album FACE THE MUSIC: Deluxe Edition. He’s released a wide range of music across all streaming platforms, and served as co-producer on this entire album alongside Erica.
Don’t Want You To Be Happy
This song closes the album for a reason. After moving through all the tender, emotional highs of love, it ends with a subtle, petty warning: “If he ever leaves me, he’ll be sorry.” The chorus repeats the line, No one will love you more than me—something that will always ring true (dramatic, but true). It’s a reminder that I won’t be rooting for you to be happy with anyone else. So basically… you better stay.
