Erica Whitney is a Nashville-based pop singer-songwriter and pianist known for powerful vocals, piano-driven melodies, cinematic production, and emotionally honest storytelling. Originally from Brookings, South Dakota, Erica has built her sound around the contrast between vulnerability and strength—pairing soaring vocals and bold pop production with lyrics rooted in love, heartbreak, self-worth, growth, and the complicated emotions in between.

Music has been part of Erica’s life for as long as she can remember. She began playing piano around age five and went on to study violin for nearly a decade, performing throughout her school years before turning her focus toward songwriting as a teenager. At just 13, she began writing the songs that would eventually become her debut album, FACE THE MUSIC, a project she continued developing and producing throughout high school.

After moving to Nashville to pursue music professionally, Erica continued evolving both as a songwriter and performer. Her sophomore album, Tunnel Vision, released in August 2025, explored obsession, memory, emotional attachment, heartbreak, and the difficulty of letting go. The project marked an evolution in her sound while maintaining the deeply personal storytelling at the center of her music.

Now, Erica is stepping into her boldest chapter yet.

Her 2026 releases showcase a more confident, dynamic side of her artistry, combining bigger hooks, sharper edges, commanding vocals, and polished modern pop production. “Priority,” released in August, turns the focus toward self-worth and the realization that sometimes choosing yourself means being willing to walk away. Its follow-up, “Logic KO,” released in September, dives into the battle between emotion and reason—the moment when your heart wants to keep fighting for something your head already knows is over.

This November, Erica will step into the holiday season with her own rendition of the timeless classic “Santa Baby,” bringing her vocal personality and modern pop sensibility to the iconic song.

Across each era of her music, Erica’s goal remains the same: to turn intensely personal experiences into songs that feel universal. Whether delivered through a vulnerable piano moment or a full-scale pop production, her music is built around connection—the kind that makes listeners recognize a piece of their own story in someone else’s.

With new original music already in development and an expanding live show that can move from intimate piano performances to a full-band pop set, Erica continues building a world centered around powerful vocals, memorable melodies, and storytelling that feels personal and real.
